Lando Norris put himself firmly in the frame to win his maiden F1 world title after winning his second consecutive race at the Brazilian Grand Prix. The Briton finished ahead of Mercedes star Kimi Antonelli, with Max Verstappen ending the day in third.
Norris appeared to be chasing the shadows of Oscar Piastri during the early stages of the season as his McLaren team-mate built a decent lead at the top of the Drivers' Championship standings. But Norris has climbed to the top of the leaderboard following a series of superb drives. The 25-year-old clinched victory in Mexico a fortnight ago and backed that result up with another win in Sao Paulo to move 24 points clear of his closest rival at the top of the pecking order.
Verstappen is third, but appears to have left himself too much to do to usurp Norris, with just three races remaining. George Russell is fourth, with Lewis Hamilton down in sixth after retiring at the Brazilian Grand Prix.
