The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the exam dates for the UGC NET December 2025 exam by issuing a notification. According to the notice shared on the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in, the exam for the December session will be conducted from December 31st to January 7th, 2026.
This is the update on the exam city slip and admit card.
According to the details shared by the NTA, the city intimation slip containing exam city details will be made available on the website for all applicants 10 days before the exam date. Admit cards will be available for download four days before the exam. Candidates are advised to visit the official website regularly for all other updates.
Applications will continue until November 7th.
Candidates wishing to appear for the UGC NET December session exam can apply by November 7th, 2025. Candidates can immediately apply for the exam through the official website or the direct link provided on this page.
To fill out the UGC NET application form, first visit the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
On the website's home page, click on "Registration for UGC-NET DEC 2025 is LIVE!" under LATEST NEWS.
On the new page, click on "Register yourself for the above-mentioned examination" and register by filling in the required details.
After registration, candidates must fill in the other details required for the form.
Afterward, upload their photograph and signature.
Finally, pay the prescribed fee, submit the form, take a printout, and keep it safe.
Application Fee
General/Unreserved candidates will have to pay ₹1150, while candidates from the OBC and EWS categories will have to pay ₹600. The application fee for SC/ST/PH categories is ₹325. Application fee can be paid through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or E-Challan.
