In Indore’s bullion market, gold prices dropped by ₹100 per 10 grams on Saturday, with the average price settling around ₹1,21,500 per 10 grams.
Silver prices have also fallen for the third consecutive week, declining by ₹3,000 per kilogram to ₹1,52,000 per kg as of November 2. However, on November 1, silver saw a minor rebound of ₹600 in Indore, reaching ₹1,50,800 per kg. In the international market, silver was slightly higher at $48.97 per ounce.
Why the Drop?
Domestic gold and silver prices are influenced by both global market movements and domestic factors such as the rupee’s value and import demand. Experts suggest that short-term volatility may persist due to global economic cues, but long-term demand for gold remains strong.
