This agency, operating under the Ministry of Home Affairs, has released the official notification for recruitment to Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (ACIO) Grade-II and technical positions. Who can apply?
To apply for these positions, candidates must have a BE or B.Tech degree. This degree should be in a discipline such as electronics, telecommunications, or computer engineering. Postgraduate degrees and other qualifications are also required for some positions.
Age Limit
The minimum age for applying is 18 years, and the maximum age is 27 years. However, age relaxation is available for candidates from reserved categories. Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates will receive a 5-year age relaxation, while Other Backward Classes (OBC) will receive a 3-year age relaxation.
Salary Requirements
Candidates selected for these positions will receive a very high salary. Upon selection, they will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹44,900 to ₹1,42,400. They will also receive other government benefits such as DA, HRA, transport allowance, and medical facilities.
Selection Process
The selection process will be completed in three stages. In the first stage, candidates will be selected based on their GATE score, which carries a total of 750 marks. This will be followed by a skill test, which will carry 250 marks. Finally, candidates will be called for an interview, which will carry 175 marks. Based on performance in all these stages, a final merit list will be prepared.
Application Fee
Application fees are also determined by category. General, OBC, and EWS category candidates will have to pay Rs. 200, while reserved category (SC/ST) candidates will have to pay Rs. 100. Payment can be made online only.
